Normally I would sort of sit like that and read with him for a while until I got bored. Normally he'd be reading about, like, the cold war. Which I wasn't very interested in. And then I'd convince him to stop reading and pay more attention to me. Umm… he generally tried not to have me around when he wanted to do work.
