My photomontage images combine several discrete facets of an experience into a composite image which, in turn, combines my feelings about a place into a single visual statement.
Each individual photograph is selected for its content, color, and texture. Each is cropped and sized for the impact it will have in relation to the other images and in support of the overall visual experience.
I am equally as drawn to architecture and built spaces as I am to natural environments. Going to the beach, standing in the courtyard of a museum, or hiking on a nature trail, are experiences that create multiple impressions simultaneously.
