First and foremost I am a teacher. For many years I have taught photography. My students have ranged from 3rd graders to adult learners. High school has been my most recent experience. I have discovered over those years that the more I teach, the more I learn.
Along with teaching I was an event photographer for a prominent Boston studio. My images have appeared in newspapers, textbooks, newsletters and annual reports as well as on the walls of friends.
I have studied photography at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, The New England School of Photography, School of the Museum of fine Arts, Maine Photography Workshop, Truro Center for the Arts and Lesley University.
I have an enduring love of still photography. I am always looking for images and constantly envisioning how what I see will look photographed. I find my photo images on city streets, in the faces of strangers and friends and, most recently, at the seashore.
