Biography

Carol Krauss studied fine art black and white photography at the New England School of Photography during the 1990's. She was an Assistant Teacher at NESOP from 1995 to 1997 and currently teaches in adult education programs. Her work has been widely exhibited at galleries and in juried competitions throughout New England.

She did the photography for two children’s books, “What Is a Scientist?” and “What Is a Teacher?” working in collaboration with author Barbara Lehn, published by Millbrook Press. Two more books will be published in 2002.

In addition to creating fine art photographs, Carol Krauss also works as a free-lance photographer serving businesses, individuals and artists. Her studio is in Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts in Concord, Massachusetts.

She has an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and worked for eight years as a management consultant.
